As the coronavirus cases continue to rise in Maharashtra's Mumbai and other parts of the state, BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that the low mortality rates are a sign that the virus has lost its sting. "There is not much pressure on hospitals because nearly 70,000 of the 85,000 cases in Mumbai since April 2020 have been asymptomatic done need medication and secondly mortality is one of the lowest in the world," he said.
