Australian PM apologises for slow vaccine rollout amid surge in Covid cases
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Thursday apologised for the slow rollout of the coronavirus vaccine in the country. Morrison is facing huge pressure from the public as a fresh surge in Covid-19 cases has forced the government to impose stricter lockdowns. "I'm sorry that we haven't been able to achieve the marks that we had hoped for at the beginning of this year. Of course I am," Morrison said.
