British government ignores warnings to lift Coronavirus restrictions

Ignoring the warning by the scientists over the possible surge in coronavirus cases, the British government lifted the restrictions on Monday. While scientists criticised the move, all the social distancing norms have been done away with. The nightclubs in the country have been allowed to open from midnight and indoor venues have also been permitted to run at full capacity. Britain's daily Covid numbers breached the 50,000-mark.
