Covid restrictions in Maharashtra extended till June 1 to curb outbreak

The emergency restrictions that were imposed in Maharashtra in view of the coronavirus outbreak, have been extended till 7 am on June 1 to curb the spread of the pandemic. The restriction orders were issued by Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte. During this period, those entering the state will have to show negative RT-PCR test reports. "Milk collection, transport and processing may be allowed without restrictions," the order read.
