Despite WHO warning, Goa officials support use of Ivermectin for Covid-19 treatment

Even as World Health Organisation warned against the use of Ivermectin to treat Covid-19 a couple of days ago, the dean of the Goa Medical College has spoken in support of the drug. "There are many trials on this. It is considered to be a very good drug. It is a very good drug and our expert committee, the state expert committee has accepted it," said Goa Medical College dean Dr. Shivanand Bandekar.
