Fire at Gujarat hospital leaves 18 Covid-19 patients dead

In an unfortunate incident, 18 Coronavirus patients lost their lives after a fire broke out at a hospital in Gujarat's Bharuch in the wee hours of Saturday. The fire broke out in the COVID-19 ward at 1 am. Locals and firefighters rescued nearly 50 other patients admitted to the hospital. While 12 patients died in the hospital itself, it is not clear if the remaining six also died there or while being shifted to other hospitals.
