Health officer receives show-cause notice for vaccinating Karnataka minister at home

Dr. Jayanand M, Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) program officer of Haveri, received a show-cause notice from the National Health Mission director Arundhathi Chandrashekar for vaccinating Karanataka state Agriculture Minister BC Patil and his wife at home. The health officer received the notice for breaking the protocol on the Covid-19 vaccination drive. The director said in the notice that "the norm was flouted."
