India registered as many as 4,529 Covid-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, which was the highest ever single-day death toll in any country. As many as 267,334 fresh Covid-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours. The total caseload now stands at 25,496,330 while the death toll in the country has reached 283,248. While the daily cases are on a decline, the Covid-19 related deaths are continuously rising.
