India witnessed a slight surge in Covid cases with 54,069 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 30,082,778. The death toll in the country has reached 391,981, with as many as 1,321 people losing their lives in the last 24 hours. As many as 68,885 patients were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. According to the health ministry data, the total recoveries in the country stand at 29,063,740.
