India's COVID-19 tally breaches 90.5 lakh-mark; death toll mounts to 1.33 lakh

India's COVID-19 tally rose to 90.95 lakh on Sunday (November 22) with 45,209 new cases, while the recoveries surged to 85,21,617, according to the Union Health Ministry's data. The death toll reached 1,33,227 with 501 more fatalities, while total coronavirus cases mounted to 90,95,806, the data updated at 8 am showed. The number of active cases remained below five lakh for the 12th consecutive day.
