The Kerala state government has imposed a complete lockdown on July 17 and 18 amid a sharp rise in coronavirus cases. “There will be complete lockdown on 17th and 18th July with the same guidelines as issued for 12 and 13 June,” the state government said in its order. As per the order, the categorisation of the local self-government institutions will go on based on a seven-day average Test Positivity Rate.
