Kristen Roby Dimlow, a Microsoft Human Resources Executive, has revealed that the firm's employees in certain countries had to sleep in the data centres during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, due to strict lockdown restrictions. "They were worried they'd get stuck at a roadblock, trying to go home," Dimlow said. The problem was mainly faced by those employees for whom, remote work was nearly impossible.
