Morocco to start mass vaccination in prisons to curb infection

The Moroccan government has decided to vaccinate prisoners in the country after vaccinating the locals, to ensure that the deadly coronavirus does not spread further. Nearly 8 million residents have received the first dose of coronavirus vaccine whereas nearly 5 million people have received both doses. Close to 85,000 prisoners are lodged in 78 prisons across the country. At least 4,000 prisoners will be vaccinated in the 1st phase.
