No lasting lung damage seen in those recovered from Covid-19: Study

A study conducted by Loyola University Medical Centre and the University of Chicago Medicine has found that there was no evidence of lasting lung damage in those recovered from Covid-19. “The lungs of patients who recover fully also recover as the disease regresses,” said Mumbai-based physician Hemant Gupta. It is generally the patients with some underlying ailments who "have a lasting impact on their lungs".
