Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that all the remaining restrictions that were imposed in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, in view of the coronavirus pandemic have been lifted. “I know everyone in Auckland will be looking forward to a weekend with fewer restrictions,” she said. PM Ardern had imposed a week-long lockdown in the city after a cluster of Covid cases were detected domestically.
