The Serum Institute of India (SII) on Saturday issues a statement regarding the pricing of its COVID-19 vaccine Covishield. In a statement, the SII said, "'Price of COVID-19 vaccine is still lower than other medical treatment.' Government procurement for countrywide immunization programs in all countries including India has been at a far lower price as the volumes are very large, statement reads.
