Thailand registers record 6,200 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday

Thailand is witnessing a fresh surge in Covid-19 cases. The country recorded more than 6,200 fresh Coronavirus cases on Saturday, a record outbreak for the third consecutive day. The pandemic situation in the country is worsening due to a shortage of hospital beds and vaccines. The death toll has surged to 2,181 with 41 fresh deaths. Center deputy spokesperson Apisamai Srirangsan has called for setting up isolation centres.
