The Red Cross said on Thursday that Palau, a tiny nation in the western Pacific ocean, has fully vaccinated more than 99 percent of its eligible population against Covid-19. According to the International Federation of Red Cross, 99 percent of the archipelago's population over 12 has had both shots of the Covid-19 vaccine. According to government data, Palau has a population of nearly 18,000 and 16,152 of them are fully vaccinated.
