After facing huge backlash for blocking the supply of critical items necessary for vaccine production, the Joe Biden-led US administration has pledged to help India in its fight against the second wave of the deadly coronavirus pandemic. The US State Department said in a press release that it will "continue to collaborate with" partners in India to battle the coronavirus pandemic "at the highest level".
