A survey carried out in Tamil Nadu has revealed that vaccine hesitancy is highest among senior citizens in the state. The vaccine hesitancy was found to be at 27.6% among those above 60, whereas 16.9% of those aged between 18-44 years and 18.2% of those aged between 45-60 years showed hesitancy towards the vaccination program. Lack of information on where to get vaccinated was the main reason behind the hesitancy.
