WHO Chief thanks India for resuming Covid-19 vaccine exports

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus thanked India after the country announced that it was resuming the exports of Covid-19 vaccine doses. "Thank you Health Minister Mansukh Mandviya for announcing India will resume crucial Covid-19 vaccine shipments to COVAX in October," Ghebreyesus tweeted. He said the export will help in reaching the 40% vaccination target in all countries by the end of the year.
