India's coronavirus COVID-19 tally raced past 53 lakh with 93,337 people testing positive in a day, while the number of people who have recuperated from the disease rose to 42,08, 431 on Saturday, according to the Union Health Ministry data. The total coronavirus cases mounted to 53.08 lakh while the death toll climbed to 85,619 with the virus claiming 1,247 lives in a span of 24 hours.
