Seeking an explanation from Sadhvi Pragya for her comment on late IPS officer Hemant Karkare on Friday, the district election officer and collector issued her a notice under the model code of conduct. The Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, from Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal. Election Commission has now asked for an answer within 24 hours.
