Akshay Kumar beats Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone in Forbes Celebrity 100 list

Forbes has released its annual list of Celebrity 100 and Akshay Kumar has climbed up to the 2nd spot for the first time with a reported earning of Rs 293.25 crore in 2019. It is the highest position occupied by someone from the entertainment industry. Akshay surpassed Salman Khan (with a reported earning of Rs 229.25 crore), who was at the top since 2016. Amitabh Bachchan is at the 4th spot with an estimated earning of Rs 239.25 crore.
