Case filed against Javed Akhtar in Bihar court for his remarks on Delhi violence

A complaint has been lodged against lyricist Javed Akhtar in Bihar court over his recent remark, in which he was condemning the FIR registered against expelled AAP councilor Tahir Hussain. On the basis of a newspaper report, the complainant named Amit Kumar, an advocate has alleged that Akhtar's remarks were seditious and promoted religious hatred. The violence in northeast Delhi killed 42 people and injured over 200.
