Demand of Rs 2 crore by Kangana an abuse of law, says BMC

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) appeared before the Bombay High Court to file its response after actress Kangana Ranaut filed a plea demanding Rs 2 crore as damages for demolition at her bungalow. "The writ petition and the relief sought for therein constitute an abuse of power. The petition not be entertained and should be dismissed with costs," the BMC said in its response in the High Court.
