HC grants relief after 23 years to Govinda & Shilpa Shetty after 'Ek Chumma...' row

Remember the popular 1996 song Ek Chumma Tu Mujhko Udhar Dei De? This song didn't quite go well with UP public. A lawyer named Mohini Tiwary filed a petition against Govinda & Shilpa claiming the song is obscene, vulgar & defamatory. A notice was issued but wasn't served at the right address. So, the stars moved HC to put a stay in 2001; now after 23 years the judgement came in their favour & all charges have been cleared.
