Here's what producer tweeted after “Period” a piece on menstruation won Oscar

Period. End of sentence won the Oscar in the Best Documentary (short) category. Producer Guneet Monga after winning tweeted, “We won! To every girl in the world, know that you are a goddess”. The small documentary deals with social taboo around menstruation in India and how the girls and women deal with it. Monga said she did not think they would reach the final round and it feels fantastic to win the coveted award.
