James Ivory Becomes Oldest Oscar Winner

Winning Best Adapted Screenplay award for his work in Call Me by Your Name at the 90th Academy awards, James Ivory created history as he becomes the oldest person to win an Academy Award. He won the award at the age of 89. Earlier Ennio Morricone held the record of oldest Academy winner after he won for his work The Hateful Eight score in 2016 at the age of 87. This is Ivory's 4th Oscar nomination but first-ever win.
