The Maharashtra government has shut the multiplexes once again as the state struggles with the second wave of coronavirus pandemic. This has resulted in producers postponing the release dates of movies. Although Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and West Bengal are allowing 100% occupancy in theatres, experts believe that the industry will suffer a significant loss due to the closing of theatres in Maharashtra.
