Pixar Short film ‘Out’ introduces studio’s first gay main character

Pixar has released a short film 'Out' on Disney Plus and it’s the first film from the studio to feature an LGBTQ main character. It's also first animated gay main character from Disney. The short film tells the story of a man Greg who is planning to shift with his boyfriend Manuel. Greg is then surprised by his parents who didn’t know Greg is gay. The animated short has been written and directed by Steven Clay Hu.
