Prabhat Museum to showcase pre-Independence award that was conferred on 1944 film Ram Shastri

In a totally unexpected turn of events, workers at India’s premier film school Film and Television Institute of India discovered an award certificate conferred on 1944 film Ram Shastri during a cleaning drive. According to the officials, the award will be showcased at the Prabhat Museum. The award was given to the Prabhat Film Company for Ram Shastri in 1944. It was one of the first biopics produced in India.
