SC grants relief to Sonu Sood against BMC's notice

The Supreme Court on Friday granted relief to actor Sonu Sood who had moved the top court against an order by the Bombay High Court, dismissing his case against the BMC notice. The civic body had earlier issued a notice to Sood over alleged illegal construction at his residential building in Mumbai. According to the SC, the civic body should first process and decide on a pending application, which was filed by Sood.
