SC orders Center to regulate content shown on Netflix and Amazon Prime

The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the Center asking them to regulate the content featured on over-the-top media platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime. The 3-judge panel of SC issued this notice under the plea by an NGO asking for regulation of content on online video streaming platforms. The plea alleged OTT platforms are not only showing unlicensed shows but also running without following guidelines.
