Jane Powell, the Seven Brides for Seven Brothers fame operatic-voiced star who rose to fame in the mid-1940s, passed away at 92. Powell breathed her last on Thursday at her Wilton, Connecticut, home. According to her friend Susan Grander, Powell died of natural causes. “She was candid, she was honest. You never asked Jane a question you didn’t want an absolutely honest answer to," Grander further said.
