Amazon will film its TV series ‘The Lord of the Rings’ in New Zealand, which marks a return of the orcs, elves and hobbits to the country they became synonymous with 6movies by Peter Jackson. Pre-production has already started and shooting will start in Auckland over the coming months. The series is based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. New storylines that precede The Fellowship of the Ring will be explored.
