IPL Auctions fails to identify true worth of players

The Indian Premier League auction is a complex thing where some players are undervalued but impressively performed on the field such as Rishab pant with 684 runs and per run cost is Rs 1.16 lakh only, Jos Buttler, Rs 4.40 crore smashed 548 runs, Andre Tye, Rs 30 lakh followed by Mayank Markand and others like Ben Stokes, 12.5 crores, Virat Kohli, 17cr and Glenn Maxwell 9cr got hefty fees but underperformed.
