BS Yediyurappa, CMof Karnataka, named three deputy chief ministers on Monday as he assigned portfolios to his cabinet's new lawmakers. According to a notice, Govind Makthappa, Ashwath Narayan and Laxman Sangappa Savadi will act as deputy chief ministers for Karnataka. While the Department of Public Work was allocated to Makthappa, higher education and transportation sector were provided to Narayan and Savadi.
