6,767 coronavirus cases in India in 24 hours, biggest one day spike; Total tally reaches 1,31,868

With 6,767 new novel coronavirus cases and 147 new fatalities in the last 24 hours, India’s total tally of such infections in India stood at 1,31,868 on Sunday, according to the Health Ministry data. The total includes 73,560 active cases, 3867 fatalities, and 54,440 patients cured of the disease, the Ministry said. Maharashtra remained the worst-hit state with over 44,000 case while Sikkim reported its first COVID-19 case on Saturday.
