87.9 million mobile phones shipped to India in Oct-Dec 2017

Indian market had witnessed a record 87.9 million units of mobile phone shipment in Q4 or 2017, according to a CMR report. It also states that overall Samsung has majorly dominated the market with 21% of market share, followed by Xiaomi with 9% of market share. However, in the featured phone segment, Reliance Jio’s LYF topped with 27% share while Xiaomi topped the smartphone segment with 25% shares.
