Novac Djokovic beats Juan Martin del Potro to win his 3rd US-open title and his career's 14th Grand Slam title. It was Del Potro's first Grand Slam final since 2009. The match lasted for more than 3 hours and it was a hard-fought victory for Djokovic. Djokovic is only 1 of 8 men who have won both Wimbledon-US open both in a year. He thanked his family and his idol Pete Sampras in the post match celebration.
