Aadhaar could become must for sonography soon

In the wake of cross-border determination and female foeticide, the Maharashtra government might soon mandate Aadhaar for people from other states, especially the bordering ones, undergoing sonography in Maharashtra. It will also be mandatory for people from Maharashtra who visit these states. “We are evolving protocols with neighboring states and will hold a meeting in two months.”, said senior government official.
