The wife of a senior resident doctor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, who was tested positive for coronavirus, gave birth on Friday night. This was the lady's first delivery. The mother and the child have been kept in the isolation ward. The baby delivered is said to be healthy. AIIMS has turned its sprawling Trauma Centre into a dedicated unit to treat COVID-19 patients.
