Amazon hires DC's top economic development official 'Brian Kenner'

Brian Kenner, a top economic development official is quitting his post as D.C's Deputy Mayor for Planning & Economic Development and will join the tech giant Amazon. He was tasked to lure Amazon's prized 2nd headquarters project. The DC campaign to woo Amazon included a tax incentive package worth around $488 million. Kenner's role in Amazon will focus on economic development & the firm relies on his expertise in that area.
