An international team of researchers have detected a rhythm of life for a class of stellar objects by hearing to the beating hearts of stars. The findings are a major addition to the overall understanding of what goes on inside trillions of stars across the cosmos. Young stars are the most important objects in astronomy. The stars analysed were about 1.5 to 2.5 times more massive than the Sun, known as Delta Scuti stars.
