A woman was shifted to Coimbatore Government Hospital after a broken cannula needle got stuck in her veins after a child delivery in Ooty. The woman, Sanjana, gave birth to her second child on Saturday and underwent a family planning operation after the delivery. The cannula needle broke and got stuck inside her vein when the hospital staff was removing it after giving her drips. Sanjana was taken to Coimbatore hospital for surgery.
