California becomes first US state to ban animal fur products
California is now the first US state to ban the manufacture and sale of animal fur products. So, no more selling or making clothing, shoes or handbags from fur till 2023. The move has already been given green signal by animal rights groups who have been vocal for a ban for years. California Governor Gavin Newsom has also signed a new bill banning animals from circus shows, except cats, dogs and horses.
