Cathay Pacific CEO resigned amid Chinese aviation scrutiny

Rupert Hogg, the CEO of Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific has resigned after a week of scrutiny by the Chinese aviation regulator that has hurt the image of the carrier in the mainland. Augustus Tang has been named as the new CEO in place of Hogg. Chief customer and commercial officer Paul Loo had also resigned, and Ronald Alm will take his place from now on. Recent events have raised many questions about the brand.
