Chennai man tries ending life by jumping off bridge, lands on car

In a fortunate turn of events, a man tried ending his life by jumping off Chennai’s Chrompet bridge on Saturday. Fortunately, he landed on a car passing from the road beneath the bridge and survived. The man has been identified as Marimuthu, 34, a resident of the Sivagangai district. He suffered injuries on his head, hands and legs and was transferred to Rajiv Gandhi Medical Hospital in Chennai for treatment.
