Clash erupts in Meghalaya over CAA oppose, 1 dead, internet suspended in 6 districts

Meghalaya government has suspended internet services in six districts of the state following a clash between Khasi Students' Union (KSU) and non-tribals in East Khasi Hills district of the state. The clash broke out during anti-CAA and pro-ILP meeting held in Ichamati area of the district on Friday. One person was killed in the clashes between KSU members and non-tribals. The local administration had imposed curfew in Shillong.
